Eric Bencina

Eric Bencina has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Eric currently serves as the Director of Infrastructure, Data, and Operations at Avanti Software Inc. Prior to that, they worked at Communitech as a Growth Coach and later as the VP of Data Strategy, IT, and Operations. Eric also held the position of Director of Project Management and Solution Delivery at Cineplex Digital Media. Earlier in their career, they worked at OpenText, where they held several roles including VP of Chief Data Strategist & Governance, VP of Program Management Office, Office of the President & CEO, Director of Office of the President & CEO, Senior Customer Program Manager, and Escalations Manager, Worldwide Customer Support. Prior to joining OpenText, they worked as a Senior Product Support Analyst at Sybase. Eric has a strong background in strategic business development, data strategy, program management, and customer support.

Eric Bencina completed their education at Wilfrid Laurier University, where they earned an Honours Bachelor of Business Administrator - Co-op degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations. In 2013, they also attended a program at Scotwork Negotiating Skills to gain skills in Advanced Negotiation. In 2014-2015, they participated in the OpenText Leader's Circle program at Ivey Business School at Western University.
