Cristian Satnic

Cristian Satnic has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Cristian began their career in 1996 as a Senior Webmaster/Unix Sr. Sys Admin at Easynett.com. In 1999, they joined Tigris as a Senior Consultant, where they coordinated the implementation of router/firewall/VPN setup to strengthen network security and designed full day training classes for internal staff on database systems & network security. In 2003, they moved to SpaceBound, Inc. as IT Manager, where they were responsible for the security, uptime and availability of all IT systems from e-commerce and partner integration to customer service and order fulfillment/shipping. Cristian also managed the complete SDLC launch process for SpaceBound's new B2C daily deal website. In 2013, Cristian joined Avantia, Inc. as a Data Architect/AWS & Azure Solutions Architect, where they worked on projects that successfully rewrote complex line-of-business applications supporting several hundred users.

Cristian Satnic's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University from 1995 to 1999, and prior to that, attendance at Stuyvesant High School from 1992 to 1995. Cristian has also obtained several certifications from Microsoft and Amazon Web Services, including Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure (November 2017), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Cloud Platform (October 2017), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level (April 2017 and September 2014), Microsoft Certified Application Developer - MCAD, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator - MCDBA, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer - MCSE.
