Josh D Barker

Josh D Barker has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Josh D began their career as a Sales Development Manager at the Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau in 2005. Josh D then worked as a Senior Sales Manager at the Holiday Inn Downtown Lincoln from 2007 to 2008. Following this, Barker served as the Director of Sales at Chase Suites Lincoln from 2008 to 2009. Josh D then took on the role of Director of Sales/Sales Consultant at BJ Hospitality/Best Western Seville Plaza for a brief period in 2009. Barker then transitioned to The Cornhusker, A Marriott Hotel, where they worked as a Corporate Sales Manager from 2009 to 2012. Afterward, they joined the Holiday Inn Downtown Lincoln as a Corporate Sales Manager from 2012 to 2016. Currently, Barker is the Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing at Avantic Lodging Enterprises, responsible for overseeing the sales process for their diverse portfolio of properties.

Josh D Barker attended Southeast Community College from 2002 to 2005, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing.
