Chuck has almost 30 years experience in software internationalization. He was part of the AT&T Bell Labs team that defined software internationalization. The software internationalization principals defined by this team have stood the test of time as software internationalization is still done according to the same guidelines and principals. Chuck got his start in software internationalization while working for Bell Labs in Tokyo, Japan in 1985 as part of the team that internationalized the Unix operating system. While at Avaya, Chuck did the internationalization roadmap and architecture to take Avaya products from English only to fully supporting all the worlds languages.
