Farhad Shamshirzan

Farhad Shamshirzan is a seasoned software engineering executive with extensive experience in leading development teams and projects within the technology sector. Currently serving as the VP of Software Engineering at Avantis AI since November 2021, Farhad contributes to creating and enhancing a public filings search platform tailored for Canadian researchers. Prior roles include Senior Director of Software Engineering and Director of Software Development at Certent, Inc., where Farhad focused on software-as-a-service solutions for equity compensation and financial disclosure management. At DisclosureNet, Farhad held the position of Director of Software Development, overseeing the delivery of a leading disclosure research solution. Farhad also has a background in architecture and development from positions at KPMG, Indellient Inc., and Ciklum. Farhad holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto's St. Michael's College.
