Daniel Ong

Daniel Ong is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management. Currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Avantis Investors since July 2019, Daniel previously held the position of Portfolio Manager at Dimensional Fund Advisors for 14 years. Earlier career roles include Account Manager and AVP at Metropolitan West Asset Management from 2000 to 2003, and Structured Analyst at PIMCO from 1996 to 2000, focusing on structured high yield CDOs and CLOs. Daniel holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where studies were completed from 2003 to 2005.
