George Marquez

George Marquez, MBA, LSSBB has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. George currently serves as the Vice President Global Operations Clinical Services at Avantor, where they lead and directs the Clinical Service operations globally. George is responsible for achieving EBITDA, service innovation, and supporting strategic priorities and value propositions for clients across the global market.

Prior to Avantor, George held the role of Sr. Director of Operations at CONMED Corporation. During their tenure, they were responsible for financial planning and budgeting, multi-site manufacturing operations, improving cost structure and operating performance, and developing manufacturing capabilities. George also played a key role in talent development, business continuity planning, and operational excellence.

Before joining CONMED, George worked at Cardinal Health where they served as the Director of Operations. In this role, they were responsible for financial planning and budgeting, production and distribution management, and improving cost structure and operating performance. George also held the position of Manufacturing Logistics Plant Manager at Cardinal Health, where they managed materials and logistics, financial planning, project management, and environmental health and safety targets.

George also has experience as a Plant Manager at Stagecoach Cartage and Distribution, LP., where they oversaw project management in the automotive supply chain and developed a supply chain infrastructure to support multi-automotive customer route share programs. George also worked as a Plant Operations Manager at TE Connectivity, managing production in multi-business units and global distribution while ensuring quality and safety compliance.

George Marquez earned a Bachelor's degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2012.
