Ricky Bussey

Ricky Bussey is an accomplished professional in distribution and operations management, currently serving as the Director of Distribution Operations at Avantor since August 2018, overseeing regional distribution centers in the southeast while promoting safety and continuous improvement. Previously, Ricky held various leadership roles at Avantor's VWR, including Director of Warehouse and Production Operations and Distribution Center Manager, focusing on operational excellence and cost management. Prior experience includes impactful positions at Amazon, Black Horse, LLC, The Home Depot, and Toys R Us, where Ricky demonstrated expertise in logistics, materials management, and process optimization. Ricky holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University and is currently pursuing a Master's in Business Administration at the University of South Carolina Aiken.
