Erik Bergendorff

Erik Bergendorff is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the field of insurance law and corporate governance. Since May 2019, Erik serves as the General Counsel for Avanza Pension at Avanza Bank. Prior to this role, Erik worked as a Manager at zeb consulting from February 2017 to May 2019. Erik's expertise was further developed during a tenure at Finansinspektionen from February 2014 to February 2017, where responsibilities included positions such as Head of Division for both Insurance Law Large Insurance Companies and Insurance and Pension, as well as Legal Counsellor for Insurance Law Large Insurance Companies. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate at LEGIO Advokatfirma AB from February 2009 to January 2014. Erik holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Stockholm University, obtained between 2004 and 2010, and has additional educational experience from Stockholm University and Western Sydney University in 2002.
