David Knight is the co-founder and CEO of Avarra, an AI avatar platform designed to scale go-to-market efforts and deploy AI expert coaches, trainers, product experts, simulations, and more in under 1 hour. With a 30+ year track record as a product leader, Knight helped build $1B recurring revenue SaaS businesses at WebEx and Proofpoint and is currently a strategic advisor to Proofpoint while exploring ventures in AI, climate tech, immersive collaboration, and business intelligence. Knight previously led executive roles including CTO of the Collaboration Software Group at Cisco WebEx, VP of Product Management at WebEx Communications, and EVP/GM positions at Proofpoint, guiding product strategy and growth. Knight earned a BS from Carnegie Mellon University in 1988 and an MS-IA from Carnegie Mellon University, Tepper School of Business, in 1989.
