Lynne Chernow serves as a Distinguished Fellow at Avasant, providing thought leadership and research on business strategy, service providers, and digital transformation while actively participating in the Executive and Events Committees. Previously, Lynne held the position of Interim Chief Information Officer at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, overseeing the planning and implementation of IT systems and initiating an ERP replacement project. As IT Chief of Staff at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Lynne advised on strategic initiatives to enhance employee retention. Lynne has also served as a Strategic Advisor at Fordham University, where contributions included the development of IT roadmaps and presentations for the Board of Trustees, and previously held a Senior Vice President role in Information Technology at HBO, leading enterprise initiatives in technology. Lynne holds a Bachelor's Degree from Cornell University, a Systems Analysis diploma from New York University, and completed programs at Gartner CIO Academy and Betsy Magness Leadership Institute.
