Fredrik Jansson

Fredrik Jansson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.

Fredrik started their career in 2000 as an intern at National Instruments, where they developed a software system in C++ for creating online documentation.

In 2001, they joined Columbitech AB as a software developer and gradually transitioned into technical sales and customer support. Fredrik worked there for five years before moving on to other opportunities.

Fredrik then took on the role of CEO at Quartefice, a consulting company specializing in business support systems, from 2006 to 2008, using Microsoft .Net and SQL Server.

In 2006, Fredrik also worked briefly as a consultant at HiQ and Nanoradio AB.

From 2006 to 2010, they served as the COO for the Swedish branch office of Ethos Technologies, focusing on business support systems with clients such as the Swedish Sports Confederation.

During this time, they also started their own software development company, Fredrik Jansson Mjukvaruutveckling, and worked as its owner until 2011.

In 2010, they returned to Columbitech as a co-owner and software engineer, where they focused on the core products, VPN clients and servers, until 2014.

From 2015 to 2020, Fredrik worked for Cisco in various roles. Fredrik initially worked as a solutions architect, supporting sales of Cisco NSO (Network Services Orchestrator). Fredrik developed the first version of Cisco's NFV Orchestrator using NSO and ESC, and was involved in customer projects. Later, they served as a principal engineer, technical leader, and CTO of Network Services Orchestrator.

Most recently, in 2020, Fredrik joined Avassa Systems as a senior developer and solution architect.

Fredrik Jansson completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from Linköping University, which they pursued from 1996 to 2001. In 2016, they also attended Ledarstudion for a program called "The Personal Expression (det personliga uttrycket)." Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in August 2020.
