Elodie Brient-Litzler

Elodie Brient-Litzler has had a diverse range of work experiences in the medical and biotechnology fields. Elodie is currently the COO and Co-founder of AVATAR MEDICAL, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Institut Pasteur where they held multiple roles, including Head of Innovation Development, Technologies for Life Sciences and MedTech, and Deputy Director of Citech. Elodie'swork at Institut Pasteur involved facilitating the transfer of inventions from scientists to the industry and bringing together experts from various fields to solve biological questions. In 2017, they founded and co-directed DIM ELICIT. Earlier in their career, they worked as an R&D Project Manager at ESPCI, where they managed the development of microfluidic platforms for diagnostics applications, and as a Biologist Engineer at Bertin Technologies, where they focused on R&D projects related to biotechnology instrumentation. Elodie Brient-Litzler also has experience as a PhD student at Institut Pasteur and as an Association President. Elodie started their career as a trainee at INSERM and sanofi-aventis.

Elodie Brient-Litzler obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biochimie from École Polytechnique in 2005. Elodie then pursued their education at Chimie ParisTech - PSL from 2004 to 2005, specializing in Chemistry. Afterward, they enrolled at Pierre and Marie Curie University where they completed their PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from 2005 to 2009.
