Laura Petrescue

Laura Petrescue has extensive experience in engineering and quality management, currently serving as the Director of Engineering & Quality at Latecoere Aerostructures Canada (Avcorp Industries) since July 2005. Prior roles at the same company include Manager of Engineering & Technology Development and Materials & Process Engineer. Laura's earlier experience includes a position as a Research Engineer at the University of British Columbia for a brief period in 2005 and as a Research Council Officer at the National Research Council Canada from September 2000 to April 2005. Educationally, Laura holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Metals and Materials Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
