Area Vice President, Operations at Aveanna Healthcare

Kelly York BSN, RN, CCRN has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Kelly began their career at Home Health Care Corporation of America in 1994, where they served as a Staff RN. Kelly then joined Ridgeway Phillips Inc in 1998, where they continued to provide care for medically challenged children in their homes. In 2001, they worked as a Staff RN at Grandview Surgery and Laser Center, specializing in orthopedics.

In 2002, they became a Nursing Supervisor at Advanced HealthCare, overseeing multiple sites. Kelly joined Penn State Health in 1991 as a Staff RN, caring for critically ill children and taking charge duties. Kelly was also involved in staff orientation and served as a member of the Pediatric Code Blue Team.

Kelly joined PSA Healthcare in 2003 and held various roles, including Senior Clinical Care Coordinator, Location Administrator, and Area Director. Their responsibilities included managing pediatric clients, intake processes, and being a clinical resource for nursing staff.

In 2016, they became the Regional Vice President of Nursing Operations at Pediatria Healthcare for Kids, where they provided oversight for multiple locations in the Northeast. Kelly ensured adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while maintaining quality services.

Currently, Kelly is working at Aveanna Healthcare. Kelly started as the Area Clinical Director in the PDN division in 2017 and subsequently became the Area Director of the PDHC division. In February 2022, they transitioned into the role of Area Vice President, Operations.

In the future, they will also serve as the President of the Board of Directors for PA Vent Camp starting in November 2023. Kelly's work experience demonstrates their expertise in clinical care, leadership, and operational management within the healthcare industry.

Kelly York obtained their HS degree from Schuylkill Valley High School in 1987. Subsequently, they attended Cedar Crest College from 1987 to 1991, where they earned their BSN in Nursing. Kelly also holds a certification in CCRN from the AACN (American Association of Critical-Care Nurses).
