Wanda Taylor

Wanda Taylor, PhD, RN, CHPN, currently serves as the Executive Director at Aveanna Healthcare since December 2023. Previously, Wanda held the position of Director of Hospice Services at Affinis Hospice from January 2023 to January 2024, and served as the Area Executive of Clinical Operations at Compassus Hospice & Palliative Care from September 2021 to January 2022. Experience also includes a role as Patient Care Coordinator at Agape Hospice Care Atlanta from April 2019 to September 2021. In academia, Wanda was an Associate Professor at the University of West Georgia from 2018 to May 2020, and an Assistant Professor at both Charleston Southern University and Clemson University from 2015 to May 2020. Earlier academic roles included Instructor and Assistant Professor positions at Georgia Health Sciences University between August 2011 and July 2013. Wanda earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing from Augusta University (2006-2012), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University (1992-1995), and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Florida (1989-1991).
