Jennifer O'Brien

Jennifer O'Brien, PMP has a diverse work experience. Jennifer started their professional career as a Research Associate at UMass Medical School in September 2010, where they worked until November 2013. Jennifer then transitioned to the role of Study Coordinator for a few months before joining Foster Delivery Science in March 2014 as a Project Manager. Jennifer spent three years at Foster Delivery Science, until July 2017, before moving on to Nitto Avecia. At Nitto Avecia, Jennifer held multiple roles, starting as a Project Manager from July 2017 to January 2018. Jennifer then worked as a Business Development Manager from January 2018 to June 2021 before being promoted to Senior Business Development Manager from June 2021 to February 2023. Currently, Jennifer holds the position of Director of Business Development at Nitto Avecia, starting in February 2023.

Jennifer O'Brien, PMP, holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the same institution from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Jennifer has obtained several certifications, including Project Management Professional - PMP from the Project Management Institute in May 2017. Jennifer also holds certifications in Managing Technical Projects from Auxilium, Inc., Fundamentals of Successful Project Management from SkillPath Seminars, Statistical Process Control from Quality Support Group, Inc., Cross-functional Communication, Collaboration, and Teamwork from Client First Associates, Advanced Problem Solving from Quality Support Group, Inc., Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Six Sigma US, Statistics in Validation from Institute Of Validation Technology (ivt), and Fundamentals of Lean Manufacturing from Six Sigma US. These certifications were obtained between 2015 and 2017.
