Nelliza Medero is an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety professional with a robust background in the field. Currently serving as an Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist II at Nitto Avecia since August 2022, Nelliza previously held the position of Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at Novanta Inc. from October 2021 to May 2022. Prior to that, Nelliza was an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at CooperVision for five years and also worked as an Undergraduate Intern at the same company. Academic experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Researcher at Penn State University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Nelliza earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico, completing studies in 2016.
