Sal Ally

Sal Ally is a seasoned professional in manufacturing operations and facility engineering, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Manufacturing Operations at Nitto Avecia since September 2020. In this role, Sal is responsible for overseeing all site manufacturing and support operations, including direct and indirect manufacturing, operational planning, and warehouse logistics. Previously, Sal held various leadership positions at Nitto Avecia, focusing on facility operations, maintenance programs, and capital upgrades. Prior experience includes over 19 years at Johnson Matthey, where Sal served as Site Director, enabling growth through manufacturing validation and process improvements, and as Assistant Director of Operations, scaling small molecule processes. Sal's career began with a BS in Chemistry from UMass Boston and includes roles that demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and effective team leadership in the pharmaceutical industry.
