Thijs Visser

Thijs Visser is a seasoned professional in the field of water systems and climate adaptation, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Aveco de Bondt since April 2014. In this role, Thijs leads projects focused on climate adaptation and water system design, collaborating with over 60 colleagues on various initiatives, including climate stress tests and flood studies. Additionally, since January 2019, Thijs has worked as an Advisor for Dareius, aiming to enhance urban livability through innovative water solutions. Prior experience includes a managerial training program and an internship at Tauw bv, along with educational credentials comprising a Master of Science in Water Engineering and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Twente.
