Luis Ferreira

Luis Ferreira is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of design, currently serving as the Director of the MA in Design program and a Professor Auxiliar at Universidade de Aveiro since September 2015. In 2023, Luis became the Communication Coordinator at Design Factory Aveiro and serves as a member of the Strategic Council at Aveiro Smart Business since May 2020. Prior experience includes roles as an Adjunct Professor at Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra and IPCB, as well as a guest professor at ARCA – EUAC and Universitat de Barcelona. Luis holds a PhD in Graphic Design from Universitat de Barcelona, complemented by degrees in Graphic Design and Communication Design from Universitat de Barcelona and Universidade do Porto, respectively.
