Kelly Rhone

Kelly Rhone, MD FACEP is a Chief Medical Officer at Avel eCare. Kelly has held various titles such as Interim Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Outreach and Innovation. Additionally, Kelly is currently an Associate Professor at The University of South Dakota, Sanford School of Medicine. With over a decade of experience in emergency medicine, Kelly has served as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Avera Health and as the Medical Director of Outreach and Innovation at Avera eCare. Kelly was also a founding board member at the American Board of Telehealth. Prior to their current roles, Kelly worked as an Attending Physician at Nebraska Emergency Medicine. Kelly obtained their Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of South Dakota, Sanford School of Medicine in 2001.
