Greg Baden has had a long and successful career in the aviation industry. Greg began their career in 1982 with Northwest Airlines as the Managing Director of Flight Operations, Chief Pilot, and Captain. In 2008, they moved to Delta Air Lines as the Managing Director of Flying, where they had oversight of 9 operational bases including 37 Regional Directors/Chief Pilots and administrative staff. In 2010, they joined Allegiant as the Vice President of Flight Operations, OCC, and Director of Operations, where they established the Flight Ops Safety Department and instituted procedures for the Boeing 757 and the Airbus 319/320. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Avelo Airlines as the Chief Operating Officer, where they are responsible for the safe, reliable, efficient and cost-effective management and growth of the airline.

Greg Baden obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management, General from Eastern Washington University. Greg also holds a number of certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration, including an ATP Certificate, Commercial Certificate, CFI Certificate, Instrument Rating, Private Multi-Engine Pilot, FAA Class 1 Medical, and Captain qualifications on the DH-7, CV-580, DC9, B727, B757/767, A320, DC10, B747-200, B747-400, and A330. Greg has over 20,000 hours of flight time.
