Harmony Colella

Harmony Colella is an accomplished dive instructor and small business owner, operating "Dive with Harmony" in Maui since 2018, with extensive certifications totaling over 300 and 5000 dives. Currently a member of Avelo's Experimental Dive Team since September 2020, Harmony's prior experience includes serving as an Earthquake Hazard Mitigation Analyst at UC Berkeley and the California Office of Emergency Services, where responsibilities included stakeholder engagement and public policy development. Harmony has held various academic positions, including postdoctoral fellowships at Arizona State University and Miami University of Ohio, and taught at California State University, Fullerton. Harmony earned a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from the University of California, Riverside, focused on earthquake physics, following a Bachelor’s degree in Geology/Earth Science from California State University, Fullerton.
