Margaret Hughes

Margaret Hughes began their career in 2003 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Best Cooking Pulses, Inc. In 2018, they joined Avena Foods Limited as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where they were responsible for welcoming a new partner into the fold. This partner, Best Cooking Pulses, Inc., was a family-owned agri-foods company that had been active in the international pulse trade since 1936.

Margaret Hughes attended Queen's University from 1978 to 1983, where they obtained a BA and BMus. Margaret then attended the Guildhall School of Music & Drama until 1986, where they obtained an LGSM. In 1997, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) from the University of East London. In September 2022, they obtained the Accelerate Leadership Program certification from The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School.
