Manfred Klevesath

Manfred Klevesath is the EVP Chief Medical Officer, Managing Director, and Site Head at AvenCell, where they currently lead clinical development efforts. They previously held significant roles at Merck Group, including Head of Global Health, Bioethics, and Digital Ethics, and served as Medical Director and Program Lead. Before their tenure at Merck, Manfred was a Medical Advisor, Study Physician, and Project Lead in Oncology at AstraZeneca. They earned both a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge and a Doctor of Medicine with a PhD in Medicine from Heidelberg University.
