Puneet Shivam

Puneet Shivam has a rich and varied work experience in the finance and consulting industry. Puneet started their career as a Research Associate at Morgan Stanley in Bombay in 1996. Puneet then moved to the Mitchell Madison Group in New York, where they worked as an Engagement Manager from 1997 to 2001.

In 2001, Puneet joined Andersen's National Strategy Practice in New York as a Senior Manager and worked there for a year before transitioning to Inductis (now EXL Analytics/Consulting). At Inductis, they assumed the role of Head of Big Data/Analytics Consulting and also served as a Board Member and Shareholder. Puneet was responsible for the global P&L of the Strategy and Analytical Consulting business.

In 2007, Puneet joined Avendus, a KKR portfolio investment bank, as the CEO, President, and Board Member of Avendus Capital US. Puneet also served as the global co-head of their Tech/Outsourcing Investment Banking Practice. Puneet then took on an additional role as the Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Tech Services Banking. Avendus is focused on M&A, Private Equity Syndication, Asset Management, Wealth Management, and Structured Finance.
