Kurosch Saremi has extensive work experience in the field of system engineering, particularly in Linux-based environments. Kurosch started their career in 1999 as a Network and Security Engineer at Kaufhof Warenhaus AG. In 2000, they embarked on a freelance career, working as a System Engineer (Linux) and Network and Security Engineer until 2007.
In 2007, Kurosch joined serie a digitale medien und systeme GmbH as a System Engineer (Linux). Kurosch later joined serie a logistics solutions AG in 2008, where they continued working as a System Engineer (Linux) until 2012.
From 2012 to 2013, Kurosch served as a System Manager at Swisslos Interkantonale Landeslotterie. Kurosch then joined SwissSign AG in 2013 as a Senior System Engineer (Linux), taking on various roles including Lead IT Infrastructure until 2017.

Kurosch Saremi has a diverse education history. In 1996 to 1998, they attended the Bildungszentrum für informationsverarbeitende Berufe (b.i.b.) and earned a certification as a Certified Engineer in Software Development. Later, from 2010 to 2013, they studied at The Open University and obtained a Certificate of Higher Education Open, though the field of study is not specified.
In addition to their formal education, Kurosch Saremi has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they became a SUSE Certified Linux Professional (SLES 12) through SUSE. In 2008, they completed the Ausbildungseignungsprüfung (Prüfung zum Nachweis berufs- und arbeitspädagogischer Qualifikationen) at IHK Köln. In 2019, they obtained the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHEL 7) certification from Red Hat. Prior to that, they achieved the LPIC-2 certification from the Linux Professional Institute in 2012. Kurosch also holds the Red Hat Certified System Administrator certifications for RHEL 6 and RHEL 5, which they obtained in 2012 and 2008 respectively. Kurosch Saremi acquired the LPIC-1 certification from the Linux Professional Institute in 2006. Furthermore, in 2001, they became a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) through Cisco.
