Simon Kerrison

Simon Kerrison is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience in project development and management. Currently serving as the Managing Director - Development at Avenis Energy since March 2023, Simon previously held the position of Director Project Development at ib vogt GmbH from December 2016 to April 2023, overseeing the development of major utility-scale solar projects across Australia, including the Sebastopol, Wunghnu, and Dunedoo Solar Farms. Prior to this, Simon worked as the Planning Permitting Manager at Eco Energy World Ltd and as Managing Director at Pure Energy Solutions Ltd. Additionally, Simon served as Development Manager at RES Australia Pty Ltd, where involvement in the proposed 600MW Penshurst Wind Farm took place. Early career experience includes roles at SLP ENGINEERING LIMITED focusing on wind farm development. Simon holds a BSc (Honours) in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia.
