Elizabeth Whitehead

Software Trainer at Aventri

Elizabeth Whitehead has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Elizabeth began their career as an Assistant Front of House Manager at Fabz Estate Luxury Hotel in 2006 and later worked as a Senior Conference and Function Coordinator at Indaba Hotel from 2007 to 2010. During their time at Indaba Hotel, Elizabeth successfully planned events for industries including government clientele and developed relationships with clients for repeat business.

In 2010, Elizabeth joined New World Group as a Reservation & Events Supervisor, where they managed individual reservations, groups, conferences, and events across four hotels. Elizabeth worked closely with clients to ensure their requests were met and utilized various websites and programs for the sale of accommodations.

In 2011, Elizabeth transitioned to Holiday Inn Reading M4 Jct10, initially joining as a Senior Events Coordinator and later being promoted to Conference and Events Sales Manager in 2014. In this role, they demonstrated strong sales skills, both proactively and reactively, to increase business. Elizabeth also organized special events at the hotel and took on managerial responsibilities in the absence of the sales manager.

Most recently, Elizabeth has been working at Stova (formerly Aventri) since 2019. Elizabeth started as a Client Support Specialist and is currently serving as a Software Trainer. The duration of their current role is ongoing.

Elizabeth Whitehead obtained a Diploma in Hotel Management with a focus on Hospitality Administration/Management from SHS Swiss Hotel School in 2005-2006.
