Bernhard Furrer

Bernhard Furrer is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Board Member at Raiffeisenbank Basel since January 2023. Furrer has held the position of CFO at aventron since January 2016, contributing to the growth of an independent green power producer with significant hydro, wind, and solar assets. Previously, Furrer was the CEO of EBM Greenpower AG from May 2010 to December 2015 and served as Group Treasurer at EBM from December 2006 to September 2013. Early in their career, Furrer worked at Roche as Head of Group Treasury Middle Office and Group Controller of Financial Income, and at Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd as an Analyst in Asset Allocation and Bond Research. Furrer holds an M.Sc. in Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, and Law from the University of Basel and is a Certified International Investment Analyst and a Swiss Certified Expert for Accounting and Controlling.
