Gregory Pate

Executive Vice President, Health Equity at Avenue 360 Health and Wellness

Gregory Pate has extensive work experience in the field of community and support services. Gregory started their career as the Associate Director of Employment and Educational Services at the Weingart Center Association in 1993. From 2003 to 2005, they served as the Director of Program Administration at Beyond Shelter, Inc. In 2007, Gregory joined Change Happens! as a Program Coordinator II and stayed with the organization until 2013. Gregory then worked as the Director of Housing Support Services at Houston Area Community Services, Inc. (HACS) from 2013 to 2015. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Vice President, Health Equity at Avenue 360 Health and Wellness since September 2019. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief of Community and Support Services at the same company from 2015 to 2019.

Gregory Pate completed their Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from California State University-Dominguez Hills, studying there from 1983 to 1988.

For over 30 years, Houston Area Community Services and Bering Omega have worked to bring health services to an underserved population of Houston. In November of 2016, Houston Area Community Services and Bering Omega merged to join forces as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) under the new name Avenue 360 Health & Wellness.The new nameis a representation of a literal avenue—a path one takes to get to their destination.
