Michael Herbst

Michael Herbst is a Professional Land Surveyor with extensive experience in land surveying and engineering disciplines. Currently serving at Avenue Consultants since August 2020, Michael previously held the position of UAS/HDS Manager at Ensign Engineering and Land Surveying, where responsibilities included mentoring and establishing a UAS/HDS scanning department. Notable achievements include implementing a LiDAR scanning department at Meridian Engineering, creating a new survey department at Spinnaker Engineering Science, and preparing detailed topographic maps while assisting various entities during tenure at Stanley Consultants. Michael's foundational experience includes roles as a Senior CADD Technician and CADD Technician, supported by Associate of Science degrees in General Education and Land Surveying from Salt Lake Community College, along with an Associates Degree in Architectural Design and Drafting Technology from RICKS COLLEGE.
