Daniel Veniot

Associate Vice President Capital Markets Debt at Avenue Living

Daniel Veniot has held various roles and gained valuable experience in the finance and real estate sectors throughout their career. Daniel is currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Capital Markets Debt at Avenue Living Asset Management since July 2022. Before joining Avenue Living Asset Management, Daniel worked at Bmo Bank of Montreal for several years, where they held positions such as Director of Real Estate Finance, Senior Relationship Manager of Real Estate Finance, and Associate Director of Real Estate Finance and Dealership Finance. Prior to their time at Bmo Bank of Montreal, Daniel worked as a Project Manager at Warner Shelter Systems Limited, overseeing the installation of fabric-clad structures for prominent projects such as the Calgary Stampede, Canadian Natural Resources Horizon Project, and the 2009 World Water Ski Championships. Additionally, they gained experience in personal lending at Scotiabank and utilized their classroom knowledge to real-world situations during their work term for UVIC business degree.

Daniel Veniot completed their education in a chronological manner. In 2005, they started their bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce at the University of Calgary, which they completed in 2006. Following this, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on International Finance at the University of Victoria. After gaining valuable knowledge in the field, Daniel decided to further enhance their education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Real Estate at the Haskayne School of Business. This program started in 2019 and is expected to conclude in 2022.
