David Dalen

David Dalen has a strong background in real estate development and project management. From 2023 onwards, they served as the Vice President of Capital Planning at Avenue Living, overseeing the development of capital replacement plans and the deployment of a deep energy retrofit program. Prior to this, they took a sabbatical from 2021 to 2023. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as the V.P. of Development at Centron Group of Companies, providing development services for commercial, industrial, and retail projects. Before that, from 2006 to 2015, they held the position of V.P. of Development at GWL Realty Advisors, managing various development projects and overseeing the delivery of land development projects, hotel construction, and office buildings. David started their career at Remington Development Corporation in 1997 as a Manager of Industrial Land and Project Manager, managing the development of industrial parks and overseeing the procurement and evaluation of engineering proposals.

David Dalen earned a B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta, where they studied from 1981 to 1985.
