Marius Botha Caia

Marius Botha, CAIA has a strong background in fund operations and accounting. Marius is currently working at Avenue Living, where they have held various roles since 2019, including SVP of Fund Operations and VP of Fund Operations. Prior to that, they worked at Maitland from 2014 to 2018, where they were a Portfolio Specialist and Senior Fund Accountant. Marius also has experience at IDS Fund Services as a Fund Accountant from 2013 to 2014. In these roles, Marius has been responsible for tasks such as portfolio valuations, maintenance of accounting records, liaising with fund managers and brokers, and reconciling accounts.

Marius Botha, CAIA, holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Stellenbosch University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Matric Certificate Grade 12 from Outeniqua High School between 2002 and 2006. In addition to their formal education, Marius has also obtained several certifications from the CAIA Association, including the UniFi by CAIA™ Digital Assets Microcredential and the UniFi by CAIA™ Private Debt Microcredential, both acquired in August 2023. Marius also holds the prestigious CAIA Charterholder designation, which they obtained in May 2022.
