Karina Hourd

Karina Hourd is the Director of Business Development at Avenues Group. Karina has over 17 years of experience in business development and has worked with some of the largest organizations in the UK.

Hourd began their career as a Business Development Manager with Richmond Fellowship, where they were responsible for the development of the South of England Region. During their time with Richmond Fellowship, they secured over £3 million of business for the organization.

In 2012, Hourd became the Head of Income Development for Together for Mental Wellbeing, where they were responsible for all bids, tenders, and grants. During their time with Together for Mental Wellbeing, they introduced and managed Income Development Bid Processes and Policies.

Most recently, Hourd has been working as the Head of Business Development for Dimensions UK. In their current role, they are responsible for all aspects of business development, including partnership development, market research, and competitor analysis.

Karina Hourd has a MSc in Charity Marketing and Fundraising from City, University of London. Karina also has a Master's Degree in Work Design and Ergonomics from Birmingham City University. Her Bachelor's Degree is in Psychology from Queen's University Belfast.

They are on a team with Nicola Ford - Director, Finance, Caroline Neal - Director, People & Organisational Development, and Dan Gower - Smith - Director, Operations. Their manager is Jo Land, CEO.
