John Freedman

Mr Freedman joined Aveo Group as CFO in early 2021 and has extensive expertise across capital, strategy and finance. He previously worked at Lendlease, where in 2012 he established and led the Group Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) team driving deeper analytics and lifting capital velocity, before going on to lead the Group Strategy team. In 2016, Mr Freedman moved to Lendlease’s $25bn Funds & Asset Management business as EGM Finance, with a focus on treasury, portfolio performance analytics and process automation. Prior to joining Lendlease, Mr. Freedman spent almost 15 years at UBS Equities, finishing as Head of Real Estate & Contractors Equities Research, leading the top three equities team and working closely with global institutional investors.
