Kai Gong is the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of AvePoint, a position held since July 2001. Prior to AvePoint, Kai Gong worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Bell Labs within Lucent Technologies from 1997 to 2000 and served as a Software Engineer at Johnson & Johnson from 1995 to 1997. Educationally, Kai Gong holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge (1993-1995), a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (1986-1989), and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dalian University of Technology (1980-1984).
