David Bassan

David Bassan serves as the Team Lead and Senior Scientist at Averna Therapeutics since July 2023, following a tenure as Senior Scientist at ImmPACT Bio from July 2019 to June 2023, specializing in CAR-T cell research for cancer immunotherapy. Prior to this, David conducted research as a PhD Student at the Weizmann Institute of Science from October 2013 to July 2019, contributing to tumor immunotherapy studies. David's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Immunology and a Master of Science in Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Bar-Ilan University.
