Kamran Tavakoli

Kamran Tavakoli is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at Averna since March 2016, Kamran focuses on long-term projects involving cloud computing and web programming, utilizing technologies such as Python, Flask, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Prior to Averna, Kamran worked at Vision Solutions from October 2007 to December 2015, contributing to critical failover and migration technologies. Kamran's career began at Adaptec Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer from 1999 to 2007, where leadership involved the development of embedded software for the Windows operating system. Earlier roles included significant positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, Digi International, and Matrox, focusing on performance diagnostics, driver component development, and NDIS miniport drivers. Early experience included contributions to an astrophysical universe simulation program at the National Research Council Canada. Kamran holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Concordia University.
