Johnny Gao

Johnny Gao is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the materials and packaging industry, currently serving as Vice President and General Manager of the Materials Group for North Asia at Avery Dennison since September 2014. Previous roles at Avery Dennison include Vice President and General Manager for LPM Greater China, as well as General Manager and Commercial Director for Label and Packaging Materials in ASEAN. Across these positions, Johnny has overseen P&L responsibilities, sales and marketing strategy execution, and supply chain optimization. Before rejoining Avery Dennison in 2002, Johnny held the role of Senior Vice President at TAL Apparel Limited, managing significant operations across plants in China and Indonesia. Johnny's career began with project management and operations roles at Avery Dennison, where responsibilities included the establishment of new plants and implementing integrated business processes. Johnny holds a degree from Fudan University, completed in 2011.
