Patrick Hess

Patrick Hess possesses extensive experience in real estate development and urban policy. Currently serving as the Director of Real Estate Development at Avesta Housing since August 2017, Patrick has progressed through various roles, including Senior Development Officer and Development Officer. Prior to this, Patrick held key positions at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, serving as Chief of Staff in the Office of Development and Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Commissioner from March 2015 to August 2017. Additionally, Patrick worked at the New York City Economic Development Corporation as Assistant Vice President and Senior Project Manager. Career beginnings include a role as a Research Assistant at the Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy and various educational roles at PS 161 Don Pedro Albizu Campos. Patrick Hess holds a Master of Urban Planning from New York University, a Master of Science in Teaching from Fordham University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College.
