Tucker McGaw has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tucker currently serves as the Director at Oakum Chartered since April 2021. Previously, Tucker held the position of Managing Director at sonaCAD starting from December 2018. Tucker also worked as the Global Head of Technology & Director at Written Medicine from November 2012. Tucker has experience in creative direction and editing as the Creative Director & Editor-in-Chief at ThatMate, where they focused on sexual education for rural Indian children, starting from October 2016. Additionally, Tucker has been involved in the Avestagenome Project as an Advisory Board member and Senior Manager in Technical Operations. Tucker McGaw completed their high school education at Ocean View High School from 1999 to 2001, earning a High School Diploma in Business/Corporate Communications. Following this, they attended Plymouth State University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in IT and Business Administration.
In addition to their formal education, Tucker McGaw has obtained several certifications. In 2010, they acquired the Fire Marshal certification from St John Ambulance. In 2015, they gained certifications in various areas such as Certified Functional Site Owner (FSO), Anti-Bribery At Risk, Conflicts of Interest, Effective Trade Compliance, Group Records Management, Safeguarding Information Mandate, and Certification of Completion - Overview of Upstream Business, all from Shell. In the same year, they also became a First Aider certified by SOS. Furthermore, in 2019, they received a Certificate of Recognition from InterNations.
