Abid Yousuf

As Senior Vice President of Professional Services, Abid has responsibility for the design and deployment of services that allow customers to achieve their broader risk management goals expediently. Working closely with the customer facing and support services groups within Avetta, the professional services team delivers quality implementation, audit, insurance requirements planning and customized training.

Abid has over 20 years of experience in commercial and supply chain management as an independent advisor and head of function at Fortune 100 energy companies. In his previous roles as chief supply chain officer, Abid built end-to- end supply chain capabilities from the ground up and transformed existing functions to deliver incremental value to internal stakeholders. He has led enterprise-wide systems implementation and six sigma business process improvement programs. He has also led one of the largest merger integrations in the energy industry in the last five years.

Prior to joining Avetta, Abid was an independent consultant leading broad procurement and supply chain improvement programs that generated significant financial gain for clients in the energy, petrochemicals, financial services, technology, and manufacturing sectors. In addition to his role at Avetta, Abid is also an executive faculty member at the University of Oklahoma where he teaches MBA level courses in supply chain management.
