Deon Barnard

Deon Barnard currently serves as the Head of Business Unit at AVEVA Select Benelux since December 2023 and as Vice President of Business Development at TIMining since October 2022, focusing on expanding the company's reach in EMEA and APAC with a pioneering Digital Twin solution for open pit mining. Prior roles include Business Development Manager for NxGN, overseeing ESG solutions and digital transformation in mining, and Global Executive for Heavy Industries at IoT.nxt, where significant deals were achieved in the power industry. Deon previously held executive positions at Factory Systemes Groupe, including Vice President DACH and General Manager Software, and has a long history in sales and consulting management with companies such as Invensys Operations Management and Wonderware. Deon holds a B.Ing in Electronics from the University of Johannesburg and additional certifications in Theory of Constraints and MEDDPICC.
