Alex Briones

Alex Briones is an accomplished software development professional with extensive experience in engineering and program management. Currently serving as VP of Software Development for Cloud Platform R&D at AVEVA since March 2021, Alex has held various leadership roles, including Engineering Program Manager and Engineering Manager at OSIsoft from April 2019 to March 2021. Previous positions include Principal Technical Lead at American Airlines, Senior Technical Lead at US Airways, and Lead Software Engineer at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah. Earlier career milestones include Senior Software Engineer at JDA Software and Software Engineer at Integrated Physician Networks, Inc. (IPNI). Alex began a career in technology as an Application Developer at Bank of America and ProMark One. A graduate of DeVry Institute of Technology, Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems.
