Hariz Zhafri Hanifah

Hariz Zhafri Hanifah is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head of Cyber Threat Intelligence & Hunting at AVEVA since December 2021, following previous roles as Cyber Threat Intelligence & Hunting Manager and Cyber Security Threat Analyst. Prior to AVEVA, Hariz worked at Maybank from September 2017 to December 2021 as a Sr. Security Analyst, focusing on Security Threat Monitoring & Response and IT Security Compliance. Earlier experience includes a position as a Cyber Security Consultant at DNeX Technology Sdn Bhd and Security Analyst at SCAN Associates Berhad. Hariz began the career as a SOC Analyst at Extol MSC Berhad. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology (Hons) in Networking Systems from Universiti Kuala Lumpur, a Diploma in Computer Engineering from the Japan-Malaysia Technical Institute, and the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia from Sultan Ismail College.
