Maurizio Galardo

Maurizio Galardo is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). Since February 2017, Maurizio has held several key positions at AVEVA, including Chief Technologist XR | Visualization, Chief Technologist AR/VR, and Director of the AR/VR Business Unit. Prior to AVEVA, Maurizio served as CEO and Chairman at MWPOWERLAB Srl from May 2010 to February 2017, and as Owner and Principal of DDD from April 2003 to May 2010, where the company focused on new technologies and synthetic image creation for the movie and television industry among other fields. Maurizio's educational background includes studies at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca and Istituto Europeo di Design.
