Group Head, Technical Marketing - International Sales at Avgust Crop Protection

Alexander Kuznetsov has extensive work experience in the agricultural industry. Alexander started their career as an Intern at Syngenta, where they worked in both the R&D and Sales departments. During this time, they assisted with field trials, crop diagnostics, and support for the sales team.

Alexander then joined John Deere as a Summer Intern in Technical Sales Support.

After that, Kuznetsov worked at Avgust Crop Protection, where they held various roles including Technical Expert for International Sales and Group Head of Technical Marketing for International Sales. In these positions, they were responsible for analyzing the global agchem market, identifying new market opportunities, coordinating the registration process, and providing technical sales support to farmers and key customers. Alexander also played a key role in developing strategic relationships with wholesalers and handling customer complaints. Alexander served as a technical advisor to the Avgust teams and provided guidance on technical positioning and product pricing strategies.

Throughout their career, Kuznetsov has demonstrated strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Alexander Kuznetsov earned a Diploma of Higher Education in English for Professional Purposes (EPP) - Agronomy from the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev between 2009 and 2012. Alexander also obtained a Master's degree in Chemical plant protection from the same university during the period from 2007 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Alexander Kuznetsov has obtained several certifications. These include "Social Media Management" from Coursera in February 2022, "Chemicals Sales & Marketing Toolbox" from EBCG in October 2019, "Competitive Strategy" and "Value-Based Pricing" from LinkedIn in November 2016, "International Leadership and Organizational Behavior" from Coursera Verified Certificates in November 2015, "Successful Management of Branded Generics" from БК Тренинг in March 2014, and "Marketing Tools for Sales Reps" from БК Тренинг in January 2014.
